Sweet Travels was on the road the last several months exploring new places and meeting with foodies in the industry. One of our highlights was a cooking class at The Farm Cooking School. My friend and fellow foodie, Hilary, and I ventured to Titusville, New Jersey to learn how to make strudel with the Pastry Chef of The Four Seasons Hotel New York, Nicholas Lee. We made several sweet and savory strudels and even learned how to make fresh ricotta from Chef Ian Knauer, Founder of The Farm Cooking School. Ian worked at Gourmet Magazine with Chef Shelley Wiseman who was the Travel Food Editor at the time. Now they run The Farm Cooking School together and they just released their first collaborative cookbook, The Farm Cooking School!
